Lab Analyst PPG Industries, Inc 401(k) United States, Louisiana, Westlake 3150 Pete Manena Road (Show on map) Jun 19, 2025 As a Lab Analyst, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization’s raw materials, in- process products, and finished products. This position is fulltime in Lake Charles, LA and will report to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine quantitative and qualitative chemical or biological analysis to verify process conditions and compile research data. Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products such as permeability, disintegration, and crystal growth viscosity. Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations. Follow instructions and checklists to set-up equipment and apparatus and mix chemical solutions for use in tests. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required 1 to 4 years of lab experience
