Maintains supply and specimen inventories, records temperatures, performs and documents specified preventative maintenance procedures. Actively participates in maintaining laboratory cleanliness; preparation, distribution and storage of department documentation; interacts with other departments and the public so as to facilitate patient care in a competent and professional manner. He/she will also set up both instruments and manual tests under proper supervision, enters results of send outs for review and release, as well as perform billing functions as directed.
