Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cell Culture Technician to support the discovery and testing of therapeutic antibodies across various disease areas. This role is part of the Target Protein Sciences group and involves hands-on work with a wide range of mammalian and insect cell lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and support daily culture of 10+ mammalian and insect cell lines (adherent and suspension).Apply excellent aseptic technique and troubleshoot cell culture issues efficiently.
Generate and characterize stable cell lines for target protein production and antibody discovery.
Perform transductions (including lentiviral particle generation), selections, screening, cloning, and expression analysis.
Characterize expression using techniques such as flow cytometry, gel electrophoresis, and immunoblotting.
Coordinate cell line deliveries, mycoplasma testing, and cryopreservation logistics.
Maintain cryofreezer organization and oversee lab supplies, instrument calibration, and maintenance.
Accurately document experimental data in client-provided Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs).Collaborate with project teams and adopt new techniques as needed.
QualificationsB.S. in Biochemistry or a related field.1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience in cell culture and molecular biology.
Strong aseptic technique and ability to manage multiple cell models simultaneously.
Experience with stable cell line generation and characterization.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with flow cytometry, Western blotting, and molecular cloning.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative team environment.

Additional Details:
The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Cambridge, MA, are encouraged to apply.
