Glassware Washer (part of Allegis Group) 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Newton, MA 02456 We are seeking a Glassware Washer to support laboratory operations by ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and proper organization of laboratory glassware and equipment. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and industry standards to facilitate accurate and contamination-free testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sterilize, and dry laboratory glassware using appropriate methods, including autoclaving, manual washing, and automated washers. Ensure proper handling of fragile and specialized glassware to prevent contamination or damage. Maintain cleanliness of glassware storage areas, ensuring correct labeling and organization. Follow strict laboratory safety protocols regarding chemical exposure, biohazard materials, and sterilization techniques. Monitor inventory of glassware, cleaning solutions, and sterilization equipment, reporting shortages as needed. Assist with laboratory housekeeping tasks to support an organized and efficient work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; laboratory experience preferred. Familiarity with laboratory protocols and sterilization techniques. Basic understanding of GLP, GMP, or other regulatory standards applicable to laboratory settings. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a laboratory environment.
