Laboratory Technician II Job Summary:

Talent Software Servicesis in search of a Laboratory Technician for a contract position inMarlborough, MA. The opportunity will be six months with a strongchance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

This positionworks independently to assist R D engineers, scientists, and/orteams in the development and analysis of products, materials,processes, or equipment.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products fromconcepts. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software todocument prototypes and fixtures. Explore and propose creativesolutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design andprocess concepts. Organize, coordinate, and execute building andtesting of prototypes/products per engineering instructions. Assistproject teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.

Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assistengineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services. Actas a resource to other employees. Communicate project status toproject teams. Build Quality into all aspects of their work bymaintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications:

AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3years of related, recent, experience. Must be detail oriented withgood communication skills Labview experience is desired.
