Location/Division Specific Information
This role is based in Worcester, MA, within our Unity Lab Services division. Our division provides comprehensive lab service, support, and supply management, ensuring world-class service and support to our customers.

You’ll be at the forefront of scientific support services, ensuring flawless execution in order entry, order management, and material handling. Our specialists thrive in a collaborative and inclusive environment, driving process improvements and delivering outstanding service.
What will you do?
Perform essential laboratory services including order delivery, glassware processing, biological waste processing, chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation, and reagent preparation
Adhere strictly to written procedures and protocols
Proactively communicate with supervisors about any potential issues or feedback
Provide effective solutions for customer inquiries in a timely manner
Engage in continuous process improvement activities
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management
How will you get here?
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably within a laboratory setting or related services
Proven customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficiency in English, with outstanding interpersonal skills and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service
Collaborative approach with the ability to engage with personnel at all levels in an inclusive environment
Competence in using handheld scanners and data entry systems, alongside strong analytical skills for report reconciliation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and the ability to multi-task effectively
Capability to work independently at customer sites, potentially involving exposure to chemical-based allergens and the need for personal protective equipment
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently, with occasional requirements up to 50 pounds
