Jun 17, 2025 Apply on website Job DescriptionJob Description Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech 1 in Maplewood with a well-known industry leader.
In this role you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of consumer products. This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech 1 you will: Perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
This is a very active position and will require someone with a strong work ethic to keep up.
Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
Performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment.
Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: BS Degree (preferred)
Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds.
Ability to use a ladder/step stool to work from an elevated surface.
Have proficient hand eye coordination and manual dexterity .

Pay Rate:
