Currently, we are seeking a full-time Entry Level Development Technician to join the CRI-SIL family. A successful candidate should be meticulous, have excellent organizational and people skills as well as proven attendance record. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize is a must. Prior lab setting experience within a manufacturing facility is preferred.

Essential Job Duties:

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently and effectively. Color and olfactory evaluation skills (to evaluate samples). Project management. Prepare and test customer samples. Operates all lab equipment efficiently and safely. Maintain organization throughout the lab for all experimental and customer sample formulations. Data entry for the development of material and other projects. Working knowledge of ISO9001 standard as it applies to CRI-SIL’s business practices. Comply with lab safety and environmental protection policies and procedures for handling and disposal of the different chemicals. Execute lab test batches and color matching, keeping records and project files according to applicable SOP.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent Preferred 2 years of silicone experience- silicone mixing experience a plus but not required Microsoft Word/ Excel Statistical data analysis and statistical process control experience preferred Excellent communication skills, written and oral Ability to perform basic spreadsheet formulations A self-motivated drive and ability to effectively work with others across departments.
