Creve Coeur, MO Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications. This position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods according to SOPs and specifications Record and analyze data to identify trends or deviations from standards Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment (e.g., spectrometers, viscometers, pH meters) Support troubleshooting and quality investigations related to production issues Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of test results Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and cleanliness Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control protocols
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, or a related technical field required 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial lab environment preferred Strong understanding of basic lab techniques and equipment Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to follow written procedures and work independently or as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with LIMS or quality systems a plus How to
