• Infection Preventionist playsa key role in preventing and controlling infections within thehealthcare facility.

Working under the supervision of the Director of QualityManagement, this role involves developing and implementinginfection control policies, conducting surveillance, and analyzinginfection data. The Infection Preventionist collaborates with both clinical andnon-clinical teams to promote compliance and ensure adherence tobest practices. This position supports performance improvement activities andensures compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires dedication to the organization’s ComplianceProgram and Standards of Conduct.

Qualifications:

Minimum education

• Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Sciences BSMT
• ASCP
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology certified bythe American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), required CIC
• Certification in Infection Control .

required Previous experience in the area of infection surveillance,prevention, and control is preferred Broad knowledge base and/or job experience in areas related to theapplication of epidemiological principles and infectious disease,concepts of sterilization, disinfection, sanitation, and adulteducation principles and practices related to patient care.
