Role:

Join a hands-on team at the forefront of plant science innovation! As a Lab Assistant on our Disease Trait Discovery Team, you’ll work both in the greenhouse and lab, supporting experiments, maintaining cultures, and collecting plant data.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated learner with a passion for biology, microbiology, or horticulture.

You MUST:

Be available

M-F, 8AM-5PM

Befortable working in both greenhouse and lab environments
Be team-oriented and eager to support a collaborative research effort
Be physically able to collect plant samples and maintain greenhouse tasks
???? Preferred (But Not Required•We’ll Train the Right Fit!):
Experience with microbiology: sterile culture of fungi & bacteria
Wet lab skills: PCR, gel electrophoresis, bacterial transformation, leaf infiltration
Familiar with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Nearpletion or recent grad with a bachelor’s degree in biology, horticulture, or related field

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour
