Lab Assistants to support the consumer genetics group during it’s peek season and support a special project. Candidates will be part of the team that directly helps people learn about their ancestry and understand their genetic health risks. Responsibilities; Receive, stage, and aliquot specimens for testing Perform required QC/QA duties which include; error detection, maintain records/logs, and pull samples for rework Top Skills- Associates or Bachelors Degree in a science related field is preferred but not required Prior lab experience/exposer is a plus No prior lab experience required Work Environment- Will be working in lab setting discarding old samples and pulling samples to be shipped off to another biobank.
