Laboratory Technician Position Available In Guilford, North Carolina

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory operations. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative scientific environment. The technician will assist with routine testing, sample preparation, and general lab maintenance under the supervision of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic laboratory tests and analyses according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment Operate, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment Record and document test results and observations clearly and accurately Support inventory management by tracking supplies and restocking as needed Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance guidelines and procedures Assist with data entry and routine reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field 0-2 years of laboratory experience (academic or industry) Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
