Medical Technician The Judge Group is seeking a part-time Night Shift Medical Technician in
Charlotte, NC :
2x12s – Yes, with rotating every 3rd weekend
Hours:
7p-7a – Yes Position can be PRN or Part time, depending on the preference of the applicant
Summary:
Establish and maintain clear, real time communication shift to shift and with leadership regarding issues, concerns and problems which may affect patient care of the operation of the department. Responsible for overall quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
Position Responsibilities:
Preform Laboratory analysis on received specimen, provide clinical information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Assists with review and revision of procedures as well as documentation related to accreditation. Participate in planning and implementing change through participation in staff meetings, task forces, or projects. Maintains an adequate supply of materials for test procedures and manages inventory to effectively reduce departmental expense. Exercises clinical judgement in assessing priorities while identifying, problem solving and offering solutions to test systems through the appropriate department channels.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required, MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) Ability to work in a fast pace clinical environment.
