All On-site Job Description Most of our testing is hands-on and physical in nature where we take our SCBA’s (fire-fighting equipment) and operate it in a variety of performance tests. The ability to pick up these SCBA’s which weigh about 40-45 pounds is part of the position.

Associate degree with 1+ years’ experience or 3 years of Laboratory experience with a High School Diploma. Lab Technician
100% onsite position.
No medical surveillence required.
Safety shoes required.
Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required. Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line are required. Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills. Good written communication skills, strong mechanical apptitude, and attention to detail. Experience with programming/set-up of environmental test chambers including HALT testing. Other experience in vibration testing, salt-fog testing, and repetitive cycling testing is preferred.
