Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Biopharmaceutical company inthe Cary area who is hiring a Biorepository Laboratory Technicianto join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offeringexcellent benefits, working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, with occasionalrequired ‘on call’ time.
Responsibilities:
Biorepository LaboratoryTechnician will assist with collecting, cataloging and storingpotentially infectious samples Technician will perform allnecessary documentation and paperwork Technician will assist withperforming inventory of samples Technician will be required tofollow all SOPs, and regulations pertaining to the repository toinclude HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s in a life science or healthcarediscipline, be pursuing a Bachelor’s, or 2 years biorepositorylaboratory background Candidates must have previous experience insample management as well as LIMS experience Candidate must have astrong knowledge of following Good Laboratory Practices as well asGood Documentation Practices and SOP’s Strong attention to detailrequired! Candidates must be comfortable working in freezers toretrieve samples Must be able to pass a criminal background checkand drug screen
