Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced PatientMobility Assistant to join our team at Mercy Medical Center. Thisperson is responsible for ambulation of patients allowing them tomaintain strength and mobility.
What you will do:
- Play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by helpingthem walk and gain functionality on their own.
- Extensive mobility required. Walking, bending, standing, andmoving.
- Interacts and collaborates with all members of the heath careteam, RN, PCT, MD. etc. in a professional manner.
- May be exposed to blood, body tissues or fluids and dust.
Position requires ability to push/pull/lift more than 50 lbs.
- The Patient Care Tech may also perform secretarial tasks to aidin the flow of the unit. Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
- CPR/ Basic Life Support certification required (AMA or RedCross) Schedule
- Full-Time, 40 hours day shift
