• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
• Analyze samples using various laboratory techniques and equipment
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of test results and experimental procedures (MicroSoft Excel and Word)
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

• Knowledge of asphalt binder properties and testing procedures (ASTM and AASHTO).
• Proficiency in quality control procedures and ability to interpret and analyze test results
• Experience working in an industrial laboratory setting
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to conduct scientific research independently or as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry) is preferred but not required
