Microbiology Laboratory Technician Position Available In Middlesex, New Jersey

Eurofins CRL Cosmetics, Inc. is searching for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team in Piscataway, NJ This is an entry-level, Part-time, hourly position responsible for general microbiological duties including media prep/qualification, and testing of finished products, as needed. This position reports to the Manager of Microbiology Microbiology Laboratory Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Preparing QC Media Performing In Vitro Tests such as Standard Pour Plate and Preservative Effectiveness Test. Assisting in In Vivo Tests such as Hand Washes and Acne Studies Logging and preparing samples for testing Entering data in lab notebooks and folders Monitoring equipment in the lab and address as needed Monitoring the inventory of the lab supplies and address as needed Other duties as needed. The ideal candidate would possess : Some computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks and simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policy

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

Associate’s degree in biology or a related science, or equivalent, and two years relevant work experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Piscataway, NJ are encouraged to apply.
