Prototype Assembly Technician Job Description Join our team as a Prototype Assembly Technician, where you will play a critical role in assembling and inspecting prototype products. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality and providing valuable feedback to our product development teams. This position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for skill development and career growth. Responsibilities Assemble prototype products following provided instructions. Operate both prototype and manufacturing scale equipment to assemble prototype products, or assemble products manually as needed. Assemble new product concepts in either existing or new packaging. Provide feedback to product development teams on the prototype build process to capture lessons learned early. Inspect products and packaging for defects, including inspection of foil seals. Support the updating of prototype product inventory whenever parts or products are entered into or removed from inventory. Complete appropriate documentation for assets or prototype builds. Package and ship products to other facilities for testing or deliver products to sterilization as needed. Complete provided training and adhere to all site policies, including safety, environmental, and regulatory policies. Essential Skills Experience in prototyping and assembly. Familiarity with packaging processes. Knowledge of lab technician responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in quality assurance practices. Ability to work effectively in a packaging lab environment. Work Environment You will work in a packaging lab setting during the 2nd shift, which runs from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
