Lab Technician II Position Available In Union, New Jersey

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• – The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 23 to $ 23.53 Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors. +

• Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• 4 to 6 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Orders raw materials, makes batches, and keeps track of experiments in lab notebook.

+ Under close supervision, completes tasks as directed. Adheres to set objectives and standards. + Prepares haircolor batches and performs experiments/controls, including: + Swatching + Viscosity measurements + Alkalinity measurements + Other relevant tests + Performs and tracks stability on all formulas made; must be detail-oriented. + Communicates openly with chemists/manager regarding any stability issues. + Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and remain flexible. + Interfaces with support groups for testing requests via IT system.
