About the

Role:

The Instrumental Evaluation team at this notable cosmeticspany is dedicated to the objective, scientific testing of innovative hair and beauty products. This team develops and validates advanced instrumental methods to analyze product performance and study the physical properties of substrates such as hair, skin, lips, and nails—across various ethnicities.
We are currently seeking a Study Operator to support instrumental testing of hair products. This is a hands-on laboratory role ideal for someone with stronganizational skills, a scientific mindset, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and execute instrumental testing protocols with precision and efficiency
Interact with study panelists in a clinical research setting and provide clear instructions
Collect,anize, and process data for analysis
Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment; ensure accurate documentation of maintenance
Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets to support project tracking and reporting
Collaborate with supervisor to prioritize workload, track progress, and schedule testing
Maintain accurate andanized laboratory notebooks in accordance with SOPs

Qualifications:

Education & Experience (one of the following required):
Non-degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience
Associate’s degree with 2-3 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant coursework or work experience
Preferred disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields
Must befortable performing routine lab work daily
Hands-on experience operating laboratory instruments preferred
Strong data entry,anization, and documentation skills required
Experience with image analysis, mechanical testing, or data analysis is a plus
Excellent written and verbalmunication skills and a collaborative team mindset
Experience or interest in hair care, hairstyling, or cosmetology is a bonus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required

Pay Details:

$24.00 to $25.73 per hour
