We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sleep Technician to join our team in Saranac Lake, New York. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting patients with sleep disorders by conducting sleep studies and providing high-quality care and monitoring during testing. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for our patients. Qualifications Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to sleep medicine Proficient in conducting physical examinations and evaluating vital signs Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation techniques Experience working in a sleep center environment Certification in polysomnography VA State license. Skills in respiratory therapy are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies, including polysomnography, on patients as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor patient physiological data during sleep studies, including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, and oxygen saturation levels.
• Document and report findings in a timely manner, ensuring all data is accurately recorded for physician review.
• Provide education and support to patients about the sleep study process and expected outcomes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sleep laboratory, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
