• Full Time Evening Shift Laboratory Technologist for Chemistry
• Full Time Night Shift Laboratory Technologist for Hematology We are open to discussing flexibility as needed.

Job Duties Includes:

Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical/technical/service/administrative tasks. Perform routine laboratory tests and reports directly to the supervisor. Informs supervisor of all issues and matters

• Reviews and verifies test results. Performs periodic/scheduled and as needed maintenance on instruments. Performs quality control and calibration procedures as required. Maintains all records and documentation including remedial action for problems encountered.
• Prioritizes work activities to meet the established/expected test result turnaround time.
• Assists in Inventory Control to assure adequate supplies (QC, reagents, calibrators and other consumables) are available and reagents are stored properly (temperature sensitive).
• Participates in other projects/duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Lab Management.

Education:

Bachelor’s (Required)

Minimum Qualifications:

NYSDOH Licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or current ASCPi license. One year experience in a clinical laboratory (completion of an internship at a qualified institution is acceptable). New graduates are welcomed to apply.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications

$39.00 – $45.00 per hour
