LAB-Outreach Position Summary Summary:
The Laboratory Outreach Accessioner is responsible for assuring that all specimens arriving in the Laboratory from off-site facilities are properly identified, registered in the Hospital registration system and requisitioned properly in the Laboratory LIS system.
Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or equivalent Experience And Skills Speaks, reads and writes English Knowledge of Keyboard and Computer Skills License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information: Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn May sit for prolonged periods of time May be using keyboard/computer screen for prolonged periods of time May be exposed to biohazardous materials See company reviews
