$23.50 -$27.00/hr

No Position Summary:
A healthcare professional who is familiar with tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists. They will take care of the day-to-day operations of the scanning systems, which primarily consists of loading and unloading pathology slides into the scanning systems. They perform various tasks like visually inspecting the quality of the microscopic slides, scanning the microscopic slides. This process involves using specialized equipment to prepare the slides to be scanned and archived. Past experience as a Histology Technician is preferred not required. At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire.
