Laboratory Technician Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Laboratory Technician Job Summary Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment and maintains inventory and assists with ordering. Essential Functions The incumbent must be able to operate laboratory equipment, microscopes, and computers, in a safe and accurate manner. Must have excellent communication skills to document and record their work and communicate it to other lab members & faculty. Must be capable of physically manipulating laboratory equipment and chemicals safely. Physical Effort The incumbent will be expected to maintain a schedule that promotes interaction with the PI. The position will require some ability to ambulate between laboratory rooms to access equipment.
