LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Examine and test materials and processes in order to determine conformance to specifications and

ISO 9001

quality standards Collect samples from production checkpoints using proper sampling technique Prep samples for testing Communicate test results to operators and supervision Perform basic maintenance and calibration on lab equipment Keep Lab area clean and orderly Recording / Charting results using SPC guidelines

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent with an Associate degree preferred Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary in order to operate analytical equipment The ability to multi-task Basic computer and math skills Willing to work straight shift and weekends in a union shop

$26.42 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
