Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Lab Assistant II processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory. Experience:

2+ years laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency in 2 different areas of the lab strongly preferred. High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills. Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods. If MA, certification preferred
