TITLE:
Lab Quality Assistant
B POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible to help test the physical properties of our recycled plastic resin at our Hazleton PA plant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Computer skills
Pays close attention to details.
Willingness to learn and can be flexible
- EFS will train
Ability to multi-task
Must be a team player
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Preferred Qualifications Experience in an office administrative role
Quality control in a lab setting
Understanding in the plastics industry
High school graduate or equivalent
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure quality
Test ongoing production samples as per testing procedures
Enter all testing results into spreadsheets and databases
Work closely with Management, Sales and customers in testing and developing new products
Perform administrative assignments for Operations
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
Plant environment
40 hours / flexible schedule per week
