The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures and data analysis, with expertise in various techniques such as ELISA and DNA isolation. This role involves performing complex laboratory tests, ensuring accurate results, and contributing to clinical trials and research initiatives. Duties Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients as needed. Analyze test results using advanced data analysis skills, maintaining accuracy and precision in reporting. Execute ELISA assays and DNA isolation techniques as part of diagnostic processes. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care. Participate in clinical trials by preparing samples and conducting necessary analyses. Uphold high standards of laboratory management by following quality control measures and maintaining accurate records of all tests performed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field; certification as a Medical Technologist is preferred. Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory practices, anatomy, and laboratory procedures. Proficiency in data analysis skills with experience in research laboratories being advantageous. Familiarity with clinical trials processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills for collaboration with medical staff and reporting findings clearly. Ability to work independently while adhering to team objectives and timelines.
