Job Description
Performs various routine functions precisely and accurately to assist the laboratory professional staff and to facilitate testing by receiving and processing specimens, performing clerical tasks, work with the automation pre-analytical line, register patients and perform order entry as needed. Assist with referred testing as needed.
Qualifications:
Lab Assistant I
- HS or GED required, phlebotomy or transcription experience preferred. Lab Assistant II
- HS or GED required and a certified phlebotomist, or AS in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology. Lab Assistant III
- BS required in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
