Job Description SummaryMUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is anentity within the Medical University of South Carolina thatprovides healthcare to patients within the rural health networkthroughout the state of South Carolina. Supports high quality Point of Care Testing (POCT) testing at thepoint of service. Point of Care Testing (POCT) SOP development andregulatory compliance as well as performing training and competencyassessment of clinical services personnel. Performs qualitycontrol, maintenance, troubleshooting, evaluations, andcorrelations of POCT instrumentation. Reviews and evaluates POCTdata and patient results for acceptability; resolves aberrant dataand results; Effective communication skills; model Standards ofBehavior in daily interactions and activities; routinely rounds oncustomers to ensure needs are met. Performs other duties asrequired.
