Job Description This is an onsite, full-time, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., entry-level Lab Technician 1 position located in Greenville, SC. Find your place at Pace Join us as a Lab Technician I, where you’ll put your love of science to work in our Greenville environmental testing laboratory. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace . What you’ll do Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance
Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices
Ensure appropriate testing procedures are conducted in compliance with QA and SOP requirements
Ability to maintain and calibrate instrumentation
Preparation of reagents and standards as needed
Meet turn-around-time goals
Generate worklists and work independently
Ability to analyze, prioritize, multitask assignments, and problem solve What you’ll bring High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in a science field is a plus
Experience in an analytical laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace ).

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a lab and office setting. Work is subject to chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors, and related items in a lab setting.
