Spartanburg & Greer ENT & Allergy has been proudly serving the Upstate South Carolina community for over 50 years and is committed to providing the best quality care for our patients. We currently have 5 physicians and 4 audiologists working in two locations in Spartanburg and Greer, South Carolina. At the Hearing Center, we strive to improve the overall health and well-being of patients each and every day. On our path to becoming Audiologists, we realize that someone, at some point in the past, had to open a door and provide an opportunity for us to learn and grow. In the spirit of paying it forward and enhancing the Audiology community, we would like to welcome a student to gain the necessary experience and clinical hours needed prior to becoming Audiologists themselves. By doing so, our hope is that they will in turn give back to other students in the future. As an extern on our team, you will have the opportunity to learn, assist with and provide a full range of diagnostic services and hearing tests in a busy, collaborative environment! Plus, you will work alongside our CCC-A audiologists to serve patients of all ages at both locations while getting paid! Become a member of our team by applying today! Yes Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship:
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Pure Tone Testing.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Speech Testing.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Masking.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Tympanometry.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Otoacoustic Emissions.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Pediatric Behavioral Testing.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following during Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation.
- Accurately and independently with increasing speed and minimal supervision perform the following for Amplification services. Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
- Maintain good attendance record; punctual for daily assignments
