Position Description
Advertised Job Summary The Apple Lab Coordinator will plan and execute a variety of learning experiences at the USC Salkehatchie Apple Lab for the USC Salkehatchie students, faculty and staff, and for the members of the greater Salkehatchie service areamunity of varied backgrounds, age groups and levels of familiarity with technology, ranging from novice to expert. This position will also support the daily operations of the Apple Lab, including coordination, scheduling and equipment usage. Community outreach to identify the technology needs of the campus and localmunity is an important duty of this position. A lab coordinator is needed at the Walterboro campus and the Allendale campus.
Qualifications Minimum of an Associate’s Degree
Knowledge of Apple technology, including but not limited to iPad, IMac, MacBook and other Apple devices
The ability to learn new software and features of Apple products
Strong written and oralmunication skills
Be energized by constant interaction with University personnel, students andmunity members
Ability to coordinate and deliver learning experiences for individual patrons, small groups and large groups of varied backgrounds, age groups and levels of familiarity with technology ranging from novice to expert
Ability to engage inmunity outreach to identify the technology needs of campus and localmunity members and follow through with learning experiences
Strong people skills including being approachable, a good listener, a goodmunicator, empathetic and patient
Exhibit administrative and clerical skills for coordinating and scheduling programs and equipment usage
JAMF Certification preferred – must be able to obtain upon hire
