Job Description

Job Summary The Desktop/Help Desk Technician at our client will be responsible for providing hands-on support for a high volume of desktop equipment, ensuring end-user satisfaction, and maintaining optimal functionality of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and preferably some background in healthcare IT support. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on support for desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and configuration. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop equipment, operating systems, and applications. Utilize ticketing systems to manage and prioritize support requests. Understand and work with the networking team for troubleshooting and standardization of systems. Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their technical issues and provide clear, timely solutions. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions. Create and maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations for future reference and troubleshooting. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume support environment. If applicable, apply knowledge of healthcare IT systems and protocols to provide specialized support. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in a desktop/help desk technician role or similar position. Hands-on experience with a high volume of desktop equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with endpoint networking and connectivity issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple support requests simultaneously. Experience working within a healthcare setting or with healthcare IT systems is a strong plus. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous. Additional Requirements Active Driver’s License and Vehicle. Drug and Background check.

Schedule:

8-5pm with some overtime/flexibility needed.
