Knoxville, TN Days:
Two Scheduling Options available: Option 1: Monday through Friday with rotating weekend coverage Option 2: Weekend-based Schedule (Saturday and Sunday required) with flexible additional hours on Friday and/or Monday to reach full-time status.
Hours:
First shift, 6:30AM to 3PM Full-time benefits available In this role, you will: Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing Analyze, review, and report testing results Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards Champion safety, compliance, and quality control All you need is: High school diploma or equivalent and the completion of an AMA-approved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred and completion of an AMA-approved program of Medical Technology to qualify as a Medical Technologist (MT) Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT). Certification or eligible by ASCP or equivalent 6 months of laboratory training or experience Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
