AtWork is hiring a Lab Technician for a respected road supplies manufacturer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on lab work and thrives in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and prepare product approval samples Perform incoming raw material quality assurance (QA) Conduct quality control (QC) testing and data entry Assist in evaluating new raw materials Support the Lab Chemist with production issues, customer complaints, and product development Serve as QC backup on a weekly basis
Functional Goals:
Work directly with the Plant Chemist to collect product samples and prepare test formulas Carry out QA/QC duties with accuracy and consistency Help maintain the company’s quality standards Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of relevant lab experience — must be in an industrial or product-based lab environment Medical lab experience will not be considered Previous experience working with a chemist is required Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Excellent verbal and written communication Stable, dependable work history Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
