Functional Goal We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support both lab floor operations and data management functions. This position requires a 50/50 split between hands-on work in the lab and office-based computer tasks. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical lab skills and comfort working with computers, databases, and reporting systems. Candidates must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Training will be provided for specialized equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:

Lab Floor Duties 50% Prepare, process, and rest samples following established protocols and safety standards Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments label, store, and dispose of materials according to proper procedures Perform inventory control and restocking of supplies Ensure cleanliness and organization of the lab environment Office/Computer-Based Duties 50% Record test results and data accurately in computer systems Maintain electronic lab notebooks and documentation in accordance with quality standards Generate reports and assist with data analysis Support equipment calibration tracking and scheduling via software tools Qualification profile: Associate’s degree or higher in a science or technical filed preferred Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Offices (Excel, Work, Outlook) and basic database systems Well Organized, works well independently, self-motivated and a multi-tasker Have strong written and verbal skills and strong attention to detail and organizational skills Work Environment This is a physically active role that requires standing, waling and lifting for extended periods. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, with some overtime required or as instructed by your direct supervisor.
