Work as part of a growing team supporting vital overnight clinical operations. Ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare or those seeking to break into the laboratory field. We have two facilities in the Louisville market, our existing ship location in Clarksville, IN and we are about to open our brand new LabPort facility right next to the international airport in Louisville. Both locations have openings for Lab Assistants. ## Location

- ## Essential Responsibilities/Duties
- Accept deliveries and log patient samples.
- Accession patient sample information and physician test orders into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately.
- Review requisitions and ensure all information is complete, compliant, and meets lab standards.
- Identify and escalate missing or incorrect information.
- Maintain
HIPAA/CLIA/CAP
compliance and confidentiality.
- Scan patient requisitions for medical records.
- Maintain an error rate below 0.15% with a goal of zero errors per month. ## Qualifications ### Education
- High School diploma or GED required. ### Competencies/Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts.
- Ability to work independently and follow SOPs.
- Clear communication and professional demeanor. ### Experience
- Healthcare or laboratory experience preferred
- , but not required.
- Prior experience working overnight or 3rd shift roles is
- highly preferred
