R & D Laboratory Technician
R & D LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Location:
Hartsville, Tennessee
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join our R D team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in the development and analysis of new products. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and quality control.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans sequence of testing for instruments and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and other specifications.
- Sets up test equipment and conducts tests on performance and reliability of mechanical, structural, or electromechanical equipment.
- Prepare samples for testing.
- Perform UL strength test.
- Perform leak, flow, and cycle tests to engineering, UL, and ISO standards.
- Assist engineers in problem solving.
- Test new and existing parts to qualification test plans.
- Perform refrigerant compatibility test.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field plus two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with quality control processes.
