Laboratory Assistant Neteffects Thompsons Station, TN 37179 The Junior Microbiology Analyst coordinates and executes a variety of technical and administrative activities to support the day-to-day operations of the Regional Microbiology Laboratory. The Microbiology Junior Analyst is a crucial member of the Regional Laboratory team and reports directly to the Microbiology Laboratory Operations Manager. The Microbiology Laboratory performs microbiological analyses of raw materials, environmental samples, stability samples, and finished products. Minimum Qualifications Degree in Biology/Microbiology or related fields Minimum of 2 years of experience in microbiological analyses or related fields Knowledge of service laboratory routine Knowledge of aseptic technique, cross-contamination management/mitigation in laboratories Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Flexibility to change priorities and schedules Good communication skills, written and spoken in English Strong communication/report writing skills. Preferred Qualifications Practical and theoretical knowledge of

ISO 17025

Knowledge of cross-contamination management/mitigation in laboratories Experience and skill in using computers, filling out spreadsheets (Excel), Word, ELN, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) Practical laboratory skills and ability to troubleshoot/maintain complex laboratory instrumentation Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of biological risk control plans, laboratory safety, chemical management
