Job Description Summary Utilizing the skill and knowledge of a Registered Nurse renders direct and indirect patient care in support of medical care and in accordance with established standards of care, as well as policies and procedures of the Medical Center. Responsible and accountable for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment. Responsible for promoting positive relationships and teamwork among employees and between departments. Responsible and accountable for own clinical practice, as well as the quality and quantity of nursing care given to patients by nursing personnel. Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current Alabama nursing license; BLS certification; Successful completion of Southeast Health pharmacology exam; Computer literacy.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
SKILLS:
Ability to perform patient assessment-vital signs, history, medications; Ability to document patient assessment.
