Role:
This is not your typical LPN position. You will utilize your care plan, wound care admissions, and staff education skills, while occasionally working as a floor nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your clinical and hospitality skills in our 30-bed Skilled Nursing Unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
LPN currently licensed by the State of Alabama At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with geriatric involvement
Your Responsibilities:
Participate in the admission of new residents. Direct and coordinate all in-service educational programs of the community in accordance with regulations. Assist with orientation programs for skilled nursing personnel. Assist with maintaining secure records and reports. Participate in care plans. Perform wound care for residents. As needed work as a floor nurse. This includes accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of nursing care, respond to changes in medical condition, medications or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
