Job Description:

The LVN provides direct patient care in a critical care setting, uses critical thinking to assess patients and anticipate changes in condition, and participates in the interdisciplinary functions of the hospital. North Alabama Specialty Hospital values a collaborative approach between our nursing team, medical staff, and the administrative team to provide high quality patient outcomes.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or licensed vocational nurse program

Experience:

Hospital experience required; ICU experience preferred. New graduates accepted

Additional Skill/Abilities:

BLS required, ACLS required within 6 months. Ventilator and tracheostomy experience preferred.
