PM Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the healthcare team at a correctional facility in Harvest, Alabama for a 14-week contract assignment. This position offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to provide nursing care in a secure environment where compassion and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities:

Provide routine nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient health and report any changes to the medical team. Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility protocols. Assist with intake assessments and chronic care management. Respond to medical emergencies and support crisis intervention efforts as needed. Maintain safety, security, and confidentiality within the facility at all times.

Requirements:

Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license). Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience ; correctional or behavioral health experience preferred. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, secure environment. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
