At Mobile Ob-Gyn, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to women at every stage of life. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and support our busy Ob-Gyn clinic.
Position Summary:
The LPN will play a vital role in patient communication and clinical operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys patient interaction, and is highly organized.
Key Responsibilities:
Triage & Patient Communication:
Answer and return patient calls regarding medical concerns, symptoms, and follow-up care. Document patient interactions and escalate concerns to providers as needed.
Prescription Management:
Assist with managing the prescription line, including refill requests and prior authorizations. Coordinate with providers and pharmacies to ensure timely medication access.
Surgical Scheduling Support:
Assist with pre-operative preparation and documentation. Coordinate with surgical schedulers and patients to ensure all requirements are met.
Clinic Supply Management:
Help Monitor inventory and order medical and office supplies as needed. Maintain organized and well-stocked supply areas.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of Alabama Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in women’s health or a similar setting Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to multitask and work independently in a team-oriented environment
