Walter Wood Treatment Facility in Montgomery, Alabama. ✨ The J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility is in the capital city of Alabama. It features 24 dormitory sites and is adjacent to a year-round educational institution in collaboration with the Montgomery County Board of Education.

Pay:

Starting Hourly Rate is $20 per hour

Primarily responsible for the health care of the students, maintain all student medical files and educates staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control and emergency procedures. The nurse reports to the Program Director.

To be considered you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Must be able to provide for the general health care of students and staff within the scope of the license. Administers immunizations and assists with all health maintenance activities including but not limited to TB Screens, Hepatitis Band, and Flu Vaccines. Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from Alabama. Be at least 21 years of age. Have a desire to work with at-risk youth. Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule:
