Patient care will be provided through assessments, diagnostics, scheduling patient surgeries, follow-ups, and other necessary arrangements while working side-by-side with the physician(s) and staff. The nurse will provide clinical and office services through the following duties: 1. Consistence clinical support daily; Provides back-up to all clinical staff 2. Stock rooms and maintain inventory; submit supply order list to designated nurse for ordering weekly 3. Reviewing the patient chart by becoming familiar with orders including but not limited to lab orders and results, radiology orders and results, H&Ps and updates, and consents 4. Record medical history, symptoms and any applicable documentation in the medical record 5. Coordinate patient care, acting as a liaison with other organizations 6. Provide patient education before and after procedures, use of medical devices/equipment, and prescriptions 7. Following all universal precautions & blood-borne pathogen protocols as outlined by OSHA/practice policy 8. Provide complete patient assessment, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures 9. Providing for the emotional/physical comfort and safety of patients and family members 10. Responding to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols 11. Answer phones in a professional manner; Appointment scheduling Additional Responsibilities/Requirements (to include, but not limited to) : 1. Transportation of patients 2. Assist in preparation of patients for procedures 3. Assists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up care. 4. Assist in inventory of supplies, ordering, maintenance logs 5. Take initiative and look for opportunities to assist patients, family members, and colleagues 6. Expanding clinical expertise through appropriate education; CME requirements for licensure 7. Any other administrative, clinical, office duties. 8. Maintain and uphold a high standard of professionalism in appearance and disposition with physicians, colleagues, patients, and family members
